The goal is to have 2,100 Muskegon County students participate in the June 23 Seaway Run.
As locally elected school board members, we are offering this update on district matters.
In the spirit of the budget transparency requirements mandated by the State of Michigan, the Oakridge Board of Education has directed that the following bargaining timeline and information for all 3 collective bargaining groups be posted here on our website. This is done as a courtesy to our community since we are spending taxpayers' money. We will not be negotiating in public. However, we feel posting information that has already been shared at the bargaining table holds the Board, the Superintendent, and the bargaining units accountable for clear and accurate communication. We will continue to bargain in good faith at the bargaining table through our bargaining team. That team has and will continue to keep us informed of this process and the positions at the bargaining table.
