Our Mission
 
Oakridge Public Schools exist to empower every student with the knowledge, competencies and social skills to be a successful, contributing member of society.
District Goals
One of the major functions of the Board of Education is to work with the administration to establish the goals by which the District can accomplish its mission and to provide the resources necessary for their accomplishment.  Below are the district goals approved by the Oakridge Board of Education.

1.  Academic Program
Goal: Improve academic performance of all students by developing and implementing curricular programs of high quality.
2.  Organizational Capacity and Culture
Goal: Improve the district’s organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and culture.
3.  Community and Public Relations
Goal: Build unified and purposeful relationships with open communications among Board, Staff, and Community.
4.  Finance
Goal: Strive to increase the efficient use of District financial resources in the daily operations of the schools.
5.  Facilities/Operations
Goal: Improve facilities and operations of the District.
6.  Governance Team
Goal: Promote effective governance through purposeful Board-Superintendent relationships.
